You receive unlimited commercial rights
Every Onepixy deliverable comes with a perpetual, worldwide, unlimited commercial usage license. Run it on TV, streaming, social, your website, at events, in sales decks, anywhere, for as long as you want, with no additional fees. This is confirmed in a license letter delivered with your final files and in our service agreement.
Human authorship is built into every project
Under current US Copyright Office guidance, material generated purely by AI without human creative control is not eligible for copyright protection, while human creative contributions such as writing, selection, arrangement and editing are. Every Onepixy project involves substantial human authorship: our team writes the script, designs the shots, selects and rejects generated material, edits the sequence, and directs the sound. We assign our rights in that human-authored work to you. This is not a marketing point. It is what gives your video a defensible chain of ownership.
Commercially licensed models and tools
We produce video only with AI models and services whose terms of service grant commercial usage rights for the output under paid, professional accounts. We do not use free or consumer tiers whose terms restrict commercial use.
Licensed music and voice
Music is either generated under a commercial license or sourced from libraries licensed for advertising use. Voiceover uses professional voice talent or synthetic voices licensed for commercial work. We never clone the voice of a real person without that person’s written consent.
No real people without consent
We do not generate the likeness of any real, identifiable person, whether a celebrity, a public figure, or a private individual, without documented consent. Our spokespeople and performers are original AI-generated characters or your own team members appearing with permission. If your campaign needs a real person’s likeness, we will arrange the appropriate release.
No third-party brands, characters or copyrighted works
Our production workflow prohibits prompting for or reproducing third-party trademarks, logos, copyrighted characters, or the identifiable style of named living artists. Every deliverable is reviewed before release for unintended resemblance to existing brands, characters or people.
Documented production
Onepixy Studio records how every shot was produced: the model used, the creative direction given, and the approval history. If your legal or compliance team needs to verify how a piece was made, we can provide that record.
What you are responsible for
You confirm that the materials you provide (logo, product photography, footage, claims, offers) are yours to use and accurate. Industry-specific disclosure requirements (healthcare, financial services, legal, alcohol, real estate) remain your responsibility, though we will flag anything we notice and build required disclaimers into the edit.
Disclosure of AI use
We are transparent that our videos are produced with AI. If your placement or jurisdiction requires an on-screen or metadata disclosure that AI was used, tell us and we will include it. We recommend disclosure as a general practice.
Questions about rights
Do I own the video Onepixy makes for me?
You receive unlimited, perpetual, worldwide commercial usage rights, and we assign to you our rights in the human-authored elements of the work. You can use the video anywhere, forever, without additional fees.
Can an AI-generated commercial be copyrighted?
Purely machine-generated output cannot, under current US guidance. But a produced video with a human-written script, human shot selection, editing and direction contains protectable human authorship. Onepixy projects are built this way.
Is the music licensed for advertising?
Yes. All music is either generated under a commercial license or sourced from libraries cleared for advertising use, including broadcast.
Will my video look like someone else's brand or a famous person?
No. Our workflow prohibits third-party trademarks, characters, and real-person likenesses without consent, and every deliverable is reviewed before release.
What happens if there is a legal claim about my video?
Our service agreement sets out our warranties on the production process and our respective responsibilities. Ask us for a copy before you start, and have your counsel review it.
